Fraternal Order of Police: 59th Biennial Conference and Exhibition
Dates: August 16 – 20, 2009
Attendees: 6,000+
Description of Event: High profile conference for the city of Long Beach. In 2009, the National Fraternal Order of Police conducted its 59th National Conference and Exposition in Long Beach, CA. Hosted by the California State Lodge; this event represented ninety-four years of professional law enforcement experience for the largest and oldest law enforcement labor organization in the United States. The conference was held at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center. Law enforcement officials from all over the country attended, including: police chiefs, administrators, sheriffs, training officers, fleet managers, federal officers, correction officers, and procurement staff. The conference was a citywide event consisting of daily conferences at the Long Beach Convention Center, daily off-site events for all attendees, housing coordination for 18 hotels, airport and logistical transportation, and total conference management.

WRMA for the Department of Mental Health Los Angeles: PEI Forums
Dates: September 15, 2008 – January 19, 2009
Attendees: 4,800
Description of Event: The PEI Forums are public meetings where community members can provide input to the county’s planning for Mental Health Prevention and Early Intervention services. The forums consisted of sixteen forums in Los Angeles service areas 1 - 8 for approximately 250 attendees, which included general sessions, breakout meetings, interpretative services and food/beverage. In addition, there were 8 Teach-Ins for approximately 100 attendees. All sites were secured within 3 weeks and Forums and Teach-Ins were conducted within 2 ½ months.

Sports Concussion Institute: Second Annual National Summit on Concussion
Dates: April 17 – 19, 2009

Description of Event: A high profile summit which was designed to advance and impart current prevention, assessment, diagnostic and treatment research, scientific evidence and education, to clinicians, parents, ATC's, coaches, administrators, and policy advocates related to sports-induced concussion, safety and health. Leading medical experts, organization leaders, sports regulators, professional athletes, agents and Commissioners from around the nation presented and discussed various issues around these widely discussed topics. The National Summit was held at the Westin Los Angeles Airport and consisted of two days of general sessions, breakout meetings, exhibits, VIP reception and lunch.
